Our final safety tip for beginning exercise:
What you wear matters! Wear layers of clothing. Stay cool with cotton or other breathable fabrics, which allow sweat to evaporate. Avoid spandex, rubber, or plastic fabrics. In the summer, wear light-colored clothing. In the winter, bundle yourself in layers and shed unnecessary ones as you warm up.
