Walking on the treadmill, using the elliptical or riding a stationary bike can get repetitious, even if you have a television to look at or music to listen to. Books and magazines can sometimes be hard to manage while you’re exercising, but I find electronic readers much easier to use. Many brands are available, including the Nook, from Barnes & Noble, and Kindle, from Amazon.com. You can purchase most any book or magazine and it’s stored on the device for reading at anytime, anyplace. Using certain software, you can still borrow books from the library to read electronically. Just pick up where you left off each time you exercise—now that’s multitasking!
