I’m sure you’ve heard that you should never shop on an empty stomach! This is a helpful tip. When entering the grocery store hungry, everything you see will look better than usual–like that box of double stuffed Oreo cookies you might not purchase otherwise. Hypoglycemia (low blood sugar) can also increase hunger, so it is important to check your blood sugar levels before shopping, especially if you take certain diabetes medications or if it has been several hours since you’ve had a meal.
