Yummy Valentine’s Day Treat

Who can resist giving their Valentine a sweet treat on February 14th? Just because you have diabetes (or your valentine does) doesn’t mean you should have to.

To keep blood sugar and weight controlled, why not try a sweet treat that doesn’t come along with the guilt? I found this recipe for scrumptious-looking Berry Cheesecake Bars from Smuckers that lets you indulge just a little.

Try freezing the leftovers in single servings to enjoy later. Remember this tip to control you intake of sweets this February: Valentine’s Day is only one day.

Do you have any ideas for healthier sweet treats for Valentine’s Day? Please share! We’ve got a few days to prepare.
